Socially isolated surgeon Dido has a pathological obsession with skin. She begins to act out her compulsion by stealing the skin of hospital corpses and transplanting it onto her own body. Over time, however, even this is not enough for her, and she moves on to killing the objects of desire in order to sew their skin onto herself. She transforms herself into Frankenstein's monster.
